Copyright
Personal copyrights last a lifetime, plus 70 years. Company copyrights last 100 years. Basically copyrights last forever. Education methods allow a educator to borrow copyrighted material for educational purposes. The video was a collection of Disney characters, from Disney movies, stating facts about copyrights. At the end, it says, it is protected because the video was educational. At the end of the video a list of credits rolls down the screen, listing all the characters and the movies they appeared in. Knowing about copyright laws is important to educators, so they can protect themselves.

Questions
1. Describe two important curricular topics that you have taught in this grade/subject area. Two topics I taught about this past semester were, target heart rates, and BMI (body mass index). My content area is P.E./Health
2. Tell me about a lesson you taught and why it went well. The lesson I taught on target heart rates went really well. The lesson went well because of my knowledge on the subject and the effort from the students. The students tend to like activities that they are not completely use to.
3. Name a specific method or strategy you have used to teach in the past and why it is one you will continue to use. My favorite method that i use the most is instructional feedback. In PE, I can explain/demonstrate an activity to students, then have the students repeat the procedure. The students then try to do the activity and I observe. In my observation I am looking for them to complete the task correctly, I can give instant instructional feedback to help to students complete the activity successfully.

Technology Factor of Quality Standards
These students are making videos for their class. I was in a class in high school where we made two videos. The class was Natural Resources and we made one video about Whitetail Deer, and the other on Fish. The best thing about making the video it was fun. It was a new technology for us, the movie editor on the computer, so our interests were never failing. These students see, to be enjoying the process of the movie. These students are grouped up 3 to a computer. I think that is good because there is so many other things that need to be done. Dividing the class into groups and assigning different tasks keep students busy. Integrating the technology is the main point of this video.

WebQuest
This particular class was using the internet to learn about the solar system. The students were gathering facts and sharing them with their peers. WebQuest had roles breaking down for people that study the universe. The students watched a laser-disk to gather more information. I liked how the teacher had the students share of what they researched. I am a fan of peer teaching.

Compare Contrast
The first video was of a college class and the students were holding up signs saying what they do. Such as, how many hours spent sleeping, studying, working, eating, watching TV, internet use, etc. The students totaled 26.5 hours per day. Now anyone can see that is not possible. The video seemed to show that technology in class is a distraction. The students abuse technology, and would rather use their laptops for facebook instead of school work. It makes a lot of sense. I see people on facebook all the time during class. It is not just facebook either, i see emails, and instant messaging. I notice that some people fail test, and i still see them monkeying around on their computer during class.
The second video started out similar to the first video. The only difference was that the students were not in college. The students messages were saying out they use technology everyday, but their teachers are not skilled in technology. The were saying it is a waste. The message was that teachers need to get with the program and engaged students for learning. This makes me feel good about being a teacher in the 21st century. I have always picked up on technology fairly well. I will just have to stay updated.

Image Composer
The students are learning to use an image composer. Which is a program in which the students post pictures on the internet. They want to make eye catching collages. The students need to learn how to use the program's tools to change size and other features to get the wanted look. Images can be edited for size, crop, color, brightness, effects, and etc. The students are not just listening either. They each have a computer to work on as the lesson is being done. The assignment to asses their skills is a collage with pictures, words, shapes, and edited pictures.
